Dallas Safari Club has donated more than $1 million for the third straight year. The donations benefit wildlife conservation, public education and hunter advocacy causes worldwide. The donation has been awarded to more than 70 grant applications.
PHASA attended a wildlife forum meeting last week where we were informed of the change in the procedure to handle the application for export permits, after it became clear during the implementation phase of the new procedure that it did not work (communication problems between provinces) and that the issuing of permits were delayed. The matter was
UK CITIZENS importing firearms into the RSA for hunting!
PHASA has been made aware that UK Citizens temporarily exporting firearms for hunting to South Africa and applying for a temporary import permitat the airport (not pre-issued) after arrival in South Africa, will need to have Proof of Export from the UK.
